This illustration is an infographic for a textbook that summarizes the life cycle of HIV. Simplified viruses based on actual virus pictures show the more accurate angular appearance of viruses.  The structure of viruses such as virus spine and envelopes are expressed. The text was arranged in a two-column structure.
